Mrs. R. Wilcox Dies at Iowa City
Mildred, wife of Ray Wilcox of Newton, died in a sanitarium at Iowa City, Sunday, April 22. She was 24 years, 5 months and 19 days of age, and was married to Mr. Wilcox 7 years ago. She leaves the bereaved husband and three children, Helen, Donald and Katherine to mourn her departure.
She had not been well since last summer. During their married life, Mr. and Mrs. Wilcox had resided in Ogden and Ankeny, moving to Newton about January of the present year.
The funeral was held in Colfax, Wednesday at the home of her uncle, William Clarkson. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
