G. O. “Slim” Toler Dead
G. O. Toler, better known in this vicinity as “Slim,” passed away at the Oakdale Sanitorium Monday, Dec. 1st, following a long illness of tuberculosis. The body was brought to Colfax and funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Christian Church. Rev. V. H. Rogers and the Masonic lodge had charge of the services. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.
He was 45 years of age and has been a resident of Colfax the past 17 years. He was a barber by trade but had been doing truck farming lately. He was active when well, in the Masonic lodge.
Mr. Toler was married to Ruth Lundeen and to this union one child, a daughter was born, both of whom with his parents, two brothers and three sisters survive him.
