Mr. Wm. Ryan, an old pioneer of this vicinity, died quite suddenly at his home in Valeria Thursday noon, September 6th with paralysis. The funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 a.m.; Sacred Heart church in Valeria and interment was made in the Holy Cross cemetery eight miles north of Valeria.
