Karen Marie (Church) Wall passed away peacefully and with her family in Waco, Texas, Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018.

Karen was born April 23, 1952, in Des Moines, to Clarence and Chrystell (Sheets) Church. She attended Newton High School and late in life earned her college degree from BYU in genealogy which was a huge passion of hers. Karen was an active member in her church, teaching genealogy classes, and in her Moody, Texas community, volunteering at the local library. Her occupations through life included working on the railroad in Iowa, illustrator on F16 manuals for General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas, and then became a stay at home wife/mom.

Karen simply enjoyed life — dancing, camping, fishing, road trips, learning, reading and church, but her single most important thing in her life was her family. To Karen, her friends were family, too.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Laura Green; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Dianne Morton; and her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Shelley Morton; granddaughters, Pashence and Jessica Barrera, Alyssa and Rebecca Morton; grandsons, Gavin Green, Anthony and Timothy Morton and Dane Morton; great-granddaughter, Adalyn; and great-grandson, Anson, all of Texas; her sister, Kathy Weuve of Kellogg; brother, Don Church of Black Canyon City, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, MaryAnn Greenroyd and Myrtie Pezdirc; two brothers, Vernon and Ted Church; grandson, Damian Wall; and husbands, Mark Morton and Robert Wall Jr.
