William Sweeney (1815-1882)

Trying to find any information on William. Death records from Jackson County destroyed in fire. State has no record. He immigrated from Ireland and (I believe) he naturalized and became a citizen in late 1830s to early 1840's., but I can't find any documentation. He bought land in the 1840's and married Caroline Moore in 1844. I have not been able to connect him directly to any of the other Sweeneys around Zwingle. Iowa. Found a lot of info on Owen and Peter, but am thinking they were cousins.
