Debra Ann (Ehlinger) Oldham was born on August 7, 1956 in Maquoketa, Iowa, daughter of Cyril and Avalene (Small) Ehlinger. Her pride and strength from her childhood on the family farm molded her into a dedicated mother and grandmother.

Debra graduated from Maquoketa High School and pursued a degree in cosmetology from Stewart School of Hairstyling. Her career took her down many paths, including her passion for teaching. She was an instructor at La James and Bill Hill’s College. She was most recently employed at Salon Centric as a Sales Associate.

Debra adored her family and nothing was more important than her three children: Keith, Chelsea and Christa. Time spent with her granddaughers, Louella and Everleigh was an extra blessing and brightened Debra’s days. Debra was someone with few words, but her heart and love for her family said it all.

Left to honor her memory are her daughters, Chelsea (Bo) Robinson and Christa (Stephen Runge) Oldham, all of Davenport; and granddaughters, Louella and Everleigh, her mother, Avalene Ehlinger, Maquoketa, Iowa. Siblings: Randy Ehlinger, Zwingle, Iowa, Sandra (Jeff) Mason, DeWitt, Iowa, Lynn (Sharon) Ehlinger, Maquoketa, Iowa and Lori (Dave) Serrano, Davenport, Iowa and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by her beloved favorite son, Keith Oldham in 2019, her father, Cyril and brothers, Gary and Philip. May they reunite and rest in peace.
