CANTON--Mrs. Myrtle Bickford 75, died in her home in Canton Saturday, Aug. 3

Funeral services were held in the Carson funeral home Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 7. Burial was in the Canton cemetery.

She is survived by six sons, Merle, Curtis, and Jim, Maquoketa; Paul, Sterling, Ill.; Jerry, Dubuque; Richard, Oconto, Neb.; five daughters, Mrs. Earline Shady, Canton; Mrs. Nelda Bailey, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Bernice Earls, Mrs. Gladys Croce and Mrs. Ann Putz, Maquoketa. She also raised Gary Houston from birth.

She is also survived by a brother, Will, Emeline; 49 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents, two children, five brothers and three sisters.

She was the grandmother of Darrell, Don and Gary Houston, Canton.
