Harry J. Huebbe, 91, of Baldwin, Iowa, passed away on Monday morning, November 23, 2020, at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa from complications of CoVid 19 Pneumonia.

A graveside service and burial celebrating his life will be at 2 P.M., Friday, November 27, 2020, at Hickory Grove Cemetery, rural Monmouth, Iowa. A private family visitation will be held at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa.

It is required to utilize masks and to observe social distancing during the services due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Harry Junior Huebbe was born on January 9, 1929 at Rural Andrew, Iowa to Harry Carl and Marie (Hoover) Huebbe. He served his country in the U.S. Army earning an honorable discharge. He married Ruth Delores Scott on August 20, 1953 in Andrew, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Harold, Darrell and Brenda.

Harry had farmed all of his life, raising hogs, cattle and dairy farming.

He was a member of the Maquoketa American Legion Post #75. He enjoyed Cat fishing, and loved woodworking making wooden toys and selling them at flea markets.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Harold (Cathy) Huebbe of Maquoketa, IA, Darrell Huebbe of Maquoketa, IA, and Brenda (Ed "Kleater") Beidler of Maquoketa, IA; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Elmer (Rachel) Huebbe of Maquoketa, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Lucille, Margie and Alice, and his wife Ruth on May 29, 2020.
