MRS. KENNEALLY IS DEAD
Wife of Michael Kenneally Passes Away at Mercy Hospital Sunday

Mrs. Margaret Kenneally, wife of Michael Kenneally, passed away Sunday afternoon at 4:45 o’clock at Mercy Hospital of typhoid fever, which took her down Christmas Eve.

Mrs. Kenneally was born at Garryowen fifty-seven years ago. She lived there until twelve years ago when she came to Dubuque. In July 1876, she was married, and five children survive the union. They are Cornelius, Frank, John, Joseph and Mayme; two brothers, Robert and John and one sister, Mrs. C. McCarthy, also survive. Mrs. Kenneally was a member of the Roman Catholic church and died after receiving the sacraments.

The funeral was held Wednesday morning to Garryowen, where interment will be made. The services were held in St. Patrick’s church.

Wife of Michael Kenneally Goes To Her Reward

Mrs. Margaret Kenneally, wife of Michael Kenneally, died Sunday afternoon at 4:45 o’clock at Mercy hospital, after an illness of several weeks.

The deceased whose maiden name wa,s Margaret Williams, was born November 22, 1851 at Garryowen. Since her marriage to Mr. Kenneally she had resided in Dubuque, where she was beloved by a wide circle of friends, to whom her death comes as a personal sorrow. Mrs. Kenneally was a mother of eight children, five of whom survive here. They are Cornelius, Mamie, Frank, John and Joseph; also two brothers, Robert and John Williams and one sister, Mrs. McCarthy of Garryowen, She was a member of the Catholic church and since coming here had worshiped at the Cathedral.

The body has been removed from the hospital to the home of her son, Cornelius Kenneally, 64 Villa street.
