Timothy J. O'Connell

Funeral services for Timothy J. O'Connell, 67, who died Dec. 12, after an extended illness were held at St. John's Catholic church, Delhi, Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Eugene J. Weimer officiated at the requiem mass and preached the sermon. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery at Garryowen with Rev. Patrick Malone officiating.

T. J. O'Connell was born at Garryowen Aug. 24, 1876, and spent most of his life in that vicinity moving to the Hopkinton vicinity four years ago. On Nov. 22, 1921, he was married to Kathryn Shields. They were the parents of five children. One son preceded the father in death. Surviving are his wife and four children, Joseph, Frank, Thomas, and Mary Catherine, all at home; and two sisters, Mrs. John Cook, Washington, D. C., and Mary O'Connell, Racine, Wis.
