Norway - Dorothy Esther Schulte, 90, of Norway, IA passed away Tues. Aug. 28, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Sat. Sept. 1, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway with Father Craig Steimel officiating. Burial will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery.

Visitation is 8:30-10:30 a.m. Sat. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.hrabkfuneralhome.com

Dorothy was born November 7, 1927 on a farm between Keystone and Garrison to Edward and Mary (Vogeler) Lutz. She graduated from Dysart High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She received her teaching certificate and taught second and third grade at Norway Consolidated School. On October 30, 1947 she married Glen Schulte at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Norway. They were married for 63 years, living on the farm south of Norway. Glen died September 10, 2011.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Marsha (Richard) Wilson, Gary Schulte, Sandra (John) Kahler, Sharon (Mark) Ditch, Terry Schulte and Wanda Hanna; grandchildren, Chad, Tonya, Tina, John Glen, Matthew, Eric, Bryant, Brad, Danielle, Brett, Brandon, Tina, Kristina, Nathan, Corey, Jessica and Joseph; many great-grandchildren; sister, Alberta Levine; brothers, Clarence (Julie) Lutz and Robert (Carol) Lutz.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Phyllis Harrison; brothers, Marion Lutz and Merlin (Kathryn) Lutz.

Brosh Funeral Service of Norway is assisting the family.
