Funeral services for Randall W. Larsen, 41, Davenport, son of Lester and Onie Larsen, Marengo, were held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at McGinnis, Chambers and Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf. He died Sunday, April 1, 1990, at Mercy Hospital, Davenport, after collapsing at church services that evening.

The Rev. Jeffrey V. Oresice, West Davenport Church of God, officiated at the service. Organist was Gail Baldwin.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Ill. Pallbearers were Paul Hayes, Bill Bonwell, Wayne Lee, Al Wood, John Waldron and Layne Griffin.

Memorials may be made to West Davenport Church of God.

Randall W. Larsen was born June 11, 1948, at Iowa City, the son of Lester and Onie Wachs Larsen. He graduated from Brooklyn High School.

He served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1958 to 1960, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Conflict Medal.

He married Vickie Griffin July 19, 1986, at Newton. He worked for Iowa Interstate Railroad 10 years.

Larsen was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the West Davenport Church of God, both Davenport.

He is survived by his wife; one stepdaughter, Tonya Sue, Charles City; two stepsons, Billy Joe, Huxley and Bob, Nashua; his parents, Lester and Onie Larsen, Marengo; three sisters, Carolyn Logan, Mitchelville; Debbie Eckert, Wilton, and Lori Brecht, South Amana, and one brother, Jeff, Nashville, Tenn.
