Services for Ella M. Sperry, 87, Cedar Rapids, were held Tuesday, June 12, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. She died Friday, June 8, 2018, at Northbrook Manor, Cedar Rapids.

Inurnment was in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ella M. Sperry was born July 26, 1930, in Marengo, the daughter of Claude and Loreen (Blair) Fuller. She married Gerald E. Sperry Dec. 19, 1952, in Marengo. She worked for food service for the Cedar Rapids Community Schools and retired from there after more than 25 years of service in 1993.

She was a member of Echo Hill Presbyterian Church, Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her beloved family and many friends. Ella will forever be remembered as a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Ella is survived by her husband, Gerald; one daughter, Mary Kay (Duane) Bolger, Williamsburg, and a son, Robert (Lisa) Sperry, Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Matthew (Holly) Bolger, Springfield, Mo.; Michael Bolger, Cedar Rapids; Darren (Megan) Bolger, South Lyon, Mich.; Trey Williams, Athens, Tenn., and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
