HI,
I have been going over everything I can find here in Ida COunty for you on the McCrary's. I found an obit for Adeline Amanda, sister to Dora Cipperley. She married a Wilcox. She was born October 22,1858 in Lee County, Illinois and was the oldest of the 9 children born to William and Adaline. At the end of her obit is says that she was decendant of Early American Ancestry. Her forebearers settled in the Colonial States shortly after the pilgrims settled at Plymouth Rock. (don't know if this would be here mothers side or fathers side). You might try Lee County, Illinois for birth records on her and see if it would list her mothers maiden name.
If I find anything more I will post.
