Funeral services were held Dec. 30 for Signe Marianne Gullixson, 87, of Bell, Calif., who died Dec. 26 in a hospital in Bell.

Services were conducted in Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Louis C. Crowner officiating. Rice Mortuary was in charge of the services with burial in Inglewood Cemetery.

A native of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Gullixson lived in Bode and Humboldt before moving to California 25 years ago. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

She is survived by six daughters, Anne Heginer of Anderson, Calif.; Ruth Pederson of Humboldt; Elsa Gullixson and Hilda Stehl, both of Bell, Calif.; Mary Cavette of Portland, Ore.; and Virginia Cockrill of La Mirada, Calif. Also surviving are two sons, George of Bellflower, Calif., and Sigurd of Miami, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Additional Info by KD: Signe Mariane Johanna Dohle, daughter of John Dohle and Johanna Sørli (both natives of Norway) was born 7 Sep 1882 in Chicago, baptized 12 Nov 1882, and confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran church, St. Paul Minnesota on the 29th Apr 1900.

Signe married Herman Otto Gullixson 22 Nov 1906 at St. Paul, Ramsey County, MN. He preceded her in death on 20 Jul 1952 at Los Angeles. Herman was born 15 Jul 1876 in Bode, Humboldt County, IA
