Minnie O'NEIL 1897-1959

Mrs. Edward P. O'Neil died in a hospital near her home at Fairfield, California, on July 2, 1959, at the age of 62 years. While she had been in poor health for several years, her death was unexpected and was caused by a heart attack.

Minnie O'Neil, daughter of Andrew and Helene Larson, was born April 19, 1897, at Bode, Iowa. She was united in Marriage in 1915 to Harry Neal. To this union four children were born, Zelda Gronbach, of Inglewood, Calif., Merritt Neal of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Beverly Riley of Sioux City, Iowa, and Donald Neal Aure of Bode.

In August 1935 she was united in marriage with Edward P. O'Neil of Livermore, where they made their home until 1943, when they moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., and later to Fairfield, California, where they had since made their home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and one brother. Surviving are her husband, the four children, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Bode, Tuesday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m., with the Reverend M.O. Kraabel officiating. Special music was provided by Mrs. Miles Helmen accompanied by Mrs. James Jacobson. Floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Oscar Williams, Mrs. Melvin Johnson, and Mrs. Arlis Kinseth, A.C. Rossing and Elmer Hoversten were ushers.

Interment was at St. Olaf Cemetery in Bode, casket bearers being Leo Kinseth, Milton Kinseth, Leo Rolland, Elmer Gronbach, Arnold Larson and Dr. T.M. Rossing.
