Mrs. Betsey Underberg, wife of Ommond Pederson, died at her home in Bode July 19. She had been in failing health for the past two years and has been unable to walk, caused by paralysis. Her death was due to cerebrospinal sclerosis.

Mrs. Pederson was born in Norway, January 18, 1851. She came to this country in 1881 and on September 25, 1881 was married to Ommond Pederson in St. Olaf's church. To this union four children were born: Eddene, Norman, Elmer and Olga, who with her husband and two step-children: Peder Pederson and Mrs. J. (Lena) Wiest of Wolf Point, MT are left to mourn her loss.

Until about six years ago she resided in the country near Bode, but at that time moved into town. She was an ardent member of St. Olaf's church and it is from there the funeral will be held Saturday.
