On Friday at nine-thirty in the morning Doris Gullixson succumbed to her death after suffering for about one year with tuberculosis. Doris was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Gullixson. She died at the age of sixteen.

She was confirmed in the Lutheran church last June of which she became a member. She was a bright, winsome girl, naturally very musical. She made friends with everyone who grew to know her.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon. Rev. Jorgenson preached the impressive sermon. Before death called her away she had requested that the girls that were confirmed in her class proceed her coffin into the church and that two songs "Jesus Lover of my Soul" and "Face to Face" be sung.

Besides her father and mother and brother Felix, she leaves a grandfather, two grandmothers, several relatives and friends to mourn her departure.

Interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery.
