Funeral services for Bertha Lansing Gullixson who died at Rutland at the home of her son the last morning of the old year were held at Bode on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from St. Olaf Lutheran church, the Rev. E.C. Haavik conducting the service.

Mrs. O.C. Gullixson was born near Bode April 13, 1874. On November 10, 1894 she was united in marriage to Orin C. Gullixson also of Bode. To this union three children were born: a son who died in infancy, Doris who died at the age of sixteen and Robert Felix of Rutland who with her husband live to mourn her loss. She also leaves an aged mother, Mrs. G.P. Lansing, four brothers: Peter, Broses and Guy of Bode and Lawrence of Jackson, MN and two sisters: Mrs. B.K. Kinseth of Belmond and Mrs. Lloyd Monson of Barnum.

The pall bearers were her four brothers and two cousins, Norman and Leonard Pederson.

Burial was made at the Lutheran Cemetery near Bode.
