Rebecca Lynn (Blaser) Conlin, born October 4, 1979, in Oak Harbor, Washington; died unexpectedly on January 11, 2024 at Regional Health Services in Cresco, Iowa.

She was the beloved daughter of Bruce Blaser and Gail Kennemore. Rebecca came to live in Cresco in July of 1993 from Illinois, and has lived here since. She was in the graduating class of 1999 from Crestwood High School. We often teased her that school was more a social event than a learning experience. She'd laugh, but also agree. She had made some lasting friendships, like all of us.

She was not only the most caring lady you will ever meet; she had the laugh that will live in peoples' hearts forever. She was a CNA for almost 30 years, most recently employed at the Evans Memorial Home. She was a hard worker and loving mother, her mom hugs were her favorite to give. She loved her family so very much, always lighting up the room with her laughter. Becca never failed to dance when a favorite song came on the radio. She enjoyed blowing bubbles in the summer and going on walks around the trail. Mostly she loved talking and hanging out with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Rebecca is survived by her husband Joseph, sons Jeffrey and Zachary Blaser, daughter Sophia Blaser, father Bruce Blaser, 2nd mom Judy Blaser, paternal grandmother Perry Blaser; all of Cresco, She is also survived by brothers Steven (Staci) Blaser of Oklahoma City, OK and Matthew (Gina) Sorsen of Rochester, MN, sister Charlotte Sorsen, also of Rochester, MN, bonus grandmother Evelyn Beth, of Racine, WI, nephew Andrew Brown and nieces Arianna Whitacre and Wren Sorsen.

She was preceded in death most recently by her sister Sarah Blaser (October 15, 2023), her mother Gail Kennemore, paternal grandfather Arnold Blaser, maternal grandparents Robert and Mary Jo Kennemore and a niece Maddigan Blaser.

A short memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Heritage Events Center in Cresco. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the event center. Burial will take place in the New Oregon Cemetery, rural Cresco, at a later date.
