Mrs. W. H. Baker, of New Oregon, has been bereaved in the loss of her father, Carl Stute, who passed away Jan. 16th, at his home near Johnsburg, Mower Co., Minn., after a brief illness. He was also the father of Dr. F. N. Stute, of Elma. Two other children, also two brothers and a sister, survive him. The deceased was 79 years old.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 6, 1837 and died Jan. 16, 1916. He is buried in St. Johns Cemetery in Johnsburg, MN.
