Cynthia “Cindy” Jo (Pass) Davidson, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family with heart related issues on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI. The family is especially grateful for their loving care.

Cindy was born in Waterloo, IA, on November 22, 1953, and was the first born child of Robert E. Pass Sr. and Marilyn L. (Ertel) Pass. Cindy graduated from Crestwood High School in 1972. She went on to Western Wisconsin Technical College where she graduated with honors. On August 14, 1978, Cindy married Michael T. Davidson; together they had a son Wayne M. Davidson in 1981. They later divorced and always remained friends. Cindy worked in many settings during her lifetime, and was always well known for her naturally friendly personality. She didn’t know a stranger and was always ready to give a helping hand.

Cindy’s passion in life was her family first; whom she loved deeply. Next to that was rescuing animals of which her family always laughed, she had too many, but giving them life was truly her passion. She loved to listen to 80s music, sing, dance, and laugh. She enjoyed attending garage sales, and liked to bake and give her delicious banana bread to friends and family. Cindy always kept up on local and national news. She was an avid “Trump” supporter and followed political news. She attended First Congregational Church of Cresco, with her mother, Marilyn L. Pass, and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Cindy is survived by her son Wayne M. Davidson of WI, her mother Marilyn L. Pass of Cresco, IA, siblings Brad Pass of Houston, MN, Bobby E. (Laurie) Pass Jr. of Canton, MN, Carolyn (Rich) Baker of Hokah, MN, Cathy Opperman of Oelwein, IA, Charlene (Mike) Brumfield of Preston, MN, and former husband Michael Davidson of MA, nieces Jackie (Pass) Shannon, Nicole (Baker) Roedel, LaSarha Pass, Cayla (Opperman) Morris, Jenny (Brumfield) Olson, and Casey Pass, nephews Richie Baker, Cody Opperman, Bobby Pass III, Tyler Brumfield, and many great nieces and nephews that she loved so much.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert E. Pass Sr., brother-in-law John Opperman, infant sister and brother, infant niece Jamie, and many beloved pets.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Cresco, Iowa.
