Beverly “Bev” Fritcher, age 74, of Lime Springs, IA passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco.

Beverly Ann Harden was born January 6, 1946, in LeRoy, MN, the daughter of Warren and Pauline (Spencer) Harden. She graduated from LeRoy High School in 1964. On December 13, 1969, she married John “Butch” Fritcher at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. To this union three children were born: Terry, Brenda and Becky.

Bev dearly loved her family and enjoyed anything and everything she could do with her grandchildren. She enjoyed visiting with friends, reading, playing Words with Friends, sewing, and watching birds. She had a green thumb and was able to save most plants that her daughters handed over to her in desperation. She proudly started the bi-annual Harden family reunion and looked forward to the visits from family that traveled from near and far to attend.

Bev is survived by her son: Terry (Kimberly) Fritcher of Central City, IA, and daughters: Brenda (Daryl) Joens of New Haven, IA and Becky Fritcher (Chuck Larson) of Chester, IA and seven grandchildren: Bailey Joens, Jenna Joens, Emma Fritcher, Ali Fritcher, Jackson Joens, Madalyn “Madi” Fritcher-Larson and Charlotte “Charli” Fritcher-Larson. She is also survived by one brother, Vern Harden of Blue Springs, MO, three sister in-laws: Hazel Harden of Rochester, MN, Jo Ann (Dennis) Fox of Rochester, MN and Janet (LeRoy) Dahlke of Riceville, IA and one brother-in-law, Pete Fritcher, of Lime Springs, IA as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Butch, her parents, her sisters Wanda Enfield and Ruth Timmerman, brother Warren “Mont” Harden, and her father and mother in-law: John W. “Jack” and Ruth Fritcher.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to your favorite charity in Bev’s honor.
