DIED—Frank Lukes Sr. died at his farm southeast of Protivin on Wednesday evening, Aug. 25th. The funeral was held from the Holy Trinity church and interment made in the adjoining cemetery on Friday, Aug. 27th. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of the community.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone shows the date of death as Aug. 26 and that he was born in 1842.
