A Verdict of Suicide.
Coroner Plummer was called to Chester on Thursday to investigate the death of Alvah F. Russell, who was found dead that morning near the railroad culvert about a mile east of that village. A jury consisting of Aug. Ohmacht, C. T. McWilliams and L. S. Monson was empanelled and after hearing the testimony rendered a verdict of death from poison taken with suicidal intent. The deceased was a married man who resided with his parents on a farm near Chester. The suicide had been missing from his home since Tuesday.
