The Le Roy Independent records the death of Artemesia Maxfield, which occurred October 27, 1904, at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 22 days. She was a sister of C. M. Munson, a former resident and merchant of New Oregon.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave indicates the spelling of her first name as Artimisia and that her date of death was October 30, 1904 and her date of birth as May 5, 1820. She is buried in LeRoy, MN
