HAMILTON.
Alexander Hamilton was born in New York City in September 1822, and died at his home in Cresco on Friday afternoon, August 5, 1904, aged 82 years, after an illness from cancer lasting about two years. He came into the county when about 41 years of age and has made his home here continually since then except a year or so spent in Idaho, about four years ago.
The funeral was held at the residence on Sunday afternoon, Rev. Henriques officiating and the interment was at New Oregon cemetery.
He leaves a wife, several children, four grand children and five great grand children, most of whom were present at the funeral.
