J. W. Skacklock who had been an inmate of the county house for the past two years died Wednesday night, aged about 75 years. He came to Cresco twenty or more years ago, was Jeweler in Clemmer’s drug store for several years, and in those days was a good workman. Ho was at that time insured in the Northwest of Milwaukee but after the death of his wife allowed his policy to lapse. His funeral will be Saturday morning from the poor farm to Oak Lawn.
