Departed Life
at her home near Jamestown, New York, Sunday, June 8,1902, Jane Ann, wife of A. P. Wilcox, aged 71 years 4 months and 8 days. Deceased was born in Mayfield, Montgomery county, New York, January 30, 1831, and was united in marriage with Amos P. Wilcox, April 21, 1852. During the entire period of her married life she lived in the house on their farm where she died. Six daughters were born to them, all living out one. She was the eldest sister of the publishers of the PLAIN DEALER, and leaves a large circle of mourning friends and relatives. Her home was always the welcome resort of her extensive acquaintances, friends and relatives with whom she was social, liberal and generous. She was the idol of her family and will be deeply mourned by those and by all who knew her. Her illness had been long and painful, and death came to her as a relief from suffering
