Obituary-
DIED—At the family residence in Langdon, N. D., on Sunday, May 18, 1901,{sic} Michael Farrell, aged 86 years and 4 months. Funeral Tuesday.
In the death of Michael Farrell, Langdon is called upon to mourn the loss of one of its oldest and most prominently known citizens. Michael Farrell was born in Kildare county, Ireland, in 1815 and came to America in 1845, making Boston his home until 1850. Deceased was married to the aged wife, whose loneliness has the sympathy of all, in 1850. For forty years previous to coming here in 1896, the family home was in Iowa, and it is known that the uprightness of his long career there placed him foremost among the citizens of the community in which he lived. Three sons and five daughters with the aged widow, are left to mourn his loss,—Langdon, N. D., Courier-Democrat.
