Mrs. Elizabeth Averill, widow of Loriston Averill, died at Canton, S.D., Saturday last and was brought to Cresco for interment and laid beside her husband in New Oregon cemetery. She was 83 years of age. Her son S .B. Averill and daughter Blossom, at whose home she died, accompanied the remains to Cresco. They returned home the first train after the burial, owing to the enfeebled condition of Mrs. Ivens, mother of Mrs. Averill, who resides with them.
