Services held for Marcella Koshatka
Funeral services for Marcella Koshatka were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5 at the Assumption Worship Center in Cresco with Rev. Henry Charipar officiating. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Marcella, 84, died Thursday, January 3, 2002 at the Evans Memorial Home in Cresco.
Marcella Emma Koshatka was born August 28, 1917 on the Hosek farm near Schley, the daughter of William and. Emma (Mracek) Hosek. .
On August 26, 1939 she married Harry Koshatka at the Assumption Church in Cresco. They lived near Lourdes for a time and then moved to Cresco in 1943.
She is survived by her one son: Alvin of Cresco; one daughter: Alvira Huinker of Calmar; six grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren; one brother: Ed of Cresco; and one sister: Helen Bakula of Cresco.
Marcella was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1971; her parents; and her brothers: Leonard, Willie, and Ray as an infant.
