Charlotte Grosz services held
Funeral services for Charlotte Grosz of Cresco were held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18 at the United Methodist Church in Cresco. Interment was in Meservey Cemetery at Meservey on Tuesday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Charlotte, 59, died Friday, March 15, 2002 at Mercy Hospital in Mason City.
Charlotte Grosz was born December 10, 1942 in Mason City, the daughter of Lewis and Maxine (Waddington) Dorenkamp. She graduated from high school and attended business college.
Charlotte was married to George Grosz and they were later divorced. She worked in the family hardware business and later at the Howard County Residential Facility.
She is survived by two sons: Ryan of Cresco and Eric of Des Moines: four grandchildren: one great-grandchild; one sister: Linda Lou Dorenkamp of Clear Lake; two brothers: Tom of Omaha, NE and Jim of Thornton; and her step mother: Ruth Dorenkamp of Clear Lake.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents.
