Reed Stevenson, age 67 of Cresco, Iowa died Saturday evening, December 2, 2017 at Regional Health Services of Howard County.

Reed was born January 23, 1950 in Cresco where he grew up and graduated from Crestwood High School in 1968. Reed married Mary Ellen Melver in 1968, to this union two daughters were born: Jeanne and Lisa. They later divorced and he later married Sharon Bohr in 1989, they later divorced. Reed worked at Donaldson’s for over 40 years, retiring in 2015. Reed enjoyed going to flea markets, garage sales, golfing, trout fishing and working on vehicles and driving Race Cars.

Reed is survived by his mother, Loretta Leitz of Granger; two daughters: Jeanne (Jim) Frye of Harmony, MN and their children: Logan and Jamie, and Lisa (Bryan) Willson of Shell Rock, IA and their daughter, Britney; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Carol (Glenn) Steege of Marion, IA and their son Matt (Jess) Steege. Reed is further survived by his longtime companion, Sharon Stevenson of Cresco along with her four children: Ann (Dave) Retterath, Lisa Johnson, Brian (Angie) Bohr and Michelle Kuhn, along with Sharons 12 grandchildren.

Reed was preceded in death by his step-father, Paul Leitz.
