Friends of Mrs. Martin Kalishek of Protivin are sorry to hear of her death, which occurred last Friday. Mrs. Kalishek is the mother of Mrs. Jos. Klimesh of Conover.

Protivin - Death of Mrs. Martin Kalishek
Mrs. Martin Kalishek, aged 70, died at her home in Protivin, Jan. 29, 1932, after one week's illness.

She is survived by her husband and sons, Joseph, Charles, William, John, Frank, Lewis, Richard; daughters, Mrs. V.J. Shores, Mrs. Joseph Klimesh, Mrs. Lewis Badet, all living in this community; two sons Leonard aged 19, Edward, age 2 and two daughters Caroline and Emma in infancy preceded her in death.

She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Josephine Kalishek; two brothers, Mike and Joseph Novotny of Nebraska. Mrs. Lewis Novak, a sisted [sic], deceased, half sister, Mrs. Kate Kovarik of near Spillville, half brother Wenzel Noyotny, Protivin, half brother John Novotny, North Dakota (deceased), grandchildren Richard Kalishek, Reuben Kalishek, Clarence Kalishek, Mrs. Julius Sattler, Donald Kalishek, Marjorie Kalishek, Laverne Bader, Robert Bader, mary Ann Kalishek, Ben Kalishek, Angela Klimesh, Walter Klimesh, Leonard Ira, Marcella Kalishek, Stanley Klimesh, Bernadetta Kalishek, Ursulla Kalishek, Dolores Klimesh, Leonard Klimesh, Clarence Ira, Prescott, Arizona; Lillian Ira, Tucson, Ariz.; Edward and Joseph Ira, N.D.; great grandchildren: Verdene Kalishek, Jaunita Kalishek, Grace Kalishek, Alvin Sattler and a large number of other relatives.

The funeral which was largely attended, was held Monday Feb. 1, 1932, at the Holy Trinity church and interment was in the Holy Trinity cemetery. Pallbearers were grandchildren: Richard Kalishek, Reuben Kalishek, Ben Kalishek, Clarence Kaishek; nephews: Adolph Kalishek and Edward Kalishek.

Transcriber's Note: Holy Trinity Cemetery records indicate there is an Alzbeta Kalishek who died on January 29, 1932 also that the spelling of her last name as Kalisek.
