Obituary-
Anna B. Bell was born Dec. 11, 1848, at Dover, Racine county, Wis., where she was married to John Sumpter, Nov. 25, 1869, and lived there until March 1889, when they moved to Howard county, Iowa, which has since been their home. The husband, one daughter and four sons are left to mourn the loss of a companion and a mother. Three brothers and two sisters also survive her. She had not been strong for some time, but no danger was apprehended until she was suddenly stricken, and suffered but a few days when death came to her release last Sabbath, Nov. 21 The funeral was held yesterday, conducted by Rev. Dwello, and was largely attended. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community.—Riceville Recorder.
