Obituary.
FOLEY—At his home near Lourdes, on Saturday, Oct. 23, Michael Foley, aged 56 years,
Mr. Foley was born in Ireland, and come to America 31 years ago settling in Howard county where he lived until the time of his death. He was a peaceable, thrifty and industrious farmer and an honest and respected citizen and one of the old pioneers of Howard county. He had been suffering from asthma for a number of years and lately several other complications set in which brought him to a premature grave. Thus one after another the old pioneers are passing away. May their memory every{sic} be held sacred by the surviving generation. Deceased leaves a wife, three sons and five daughters to mourn his departure. He was laid to rest at Lourdes on Monday, Oct. 25th, a large concourse of friends and sympathisers attending the funeral.—Elma News-Register.
