Vernon "Vern" Phillip Falck, 77, of Cresco, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI.

Vernon was born on January 10, 1934 in Prosper, MN to Fred & Verna (Davis) Falck. He graduated from Cresco High School. He was an avid fisherman, and well known as a Mississippi River Rat. He could never pass up stopping at a garage sale or thrift store.

He is survived by his wife Maxine of Cresco, and two sons, Dennis Falck of Cresco, IA, and Dan Falck of Ridgeway, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cresco.

Visitation:
Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco from 4-6 p.m. on Friday and also one hour prior to services.

Service:
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco, Iowa with Rev. Michael Massa officiating.
