Doris Mae McIntyre, 76, of Cresco, IA passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 at her home in Cresco.

Doris was born on December 8, 1933 in Howard County, IA to Charles and Goldie (Lucas) Conklin. She attended school through the 8th grade. She worked doing housework. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and was a very good cook. She also enjoyed listening to country music. She also loved to spend time with family and friends, and was always there to help them whenever she could.

She is survived by her husband, Jim of Cresco, a son Steve (Miriam), two grandchildren, Charlie & Michael, all of Cresco, IA, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Dan in 1983.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in New Oregon Cemetery in rural Cresco, IA.

Visitation:
Friends may call two hours prior to services at the church on Monday.

Service:
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cresco, IA.
