Richard J. Reuter, 85, of Harmony, MN passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 26, 2010.

Richard was born in Harmony Township on March 21, 1925 to Ervie and Mae (Trouten) Reuter. He graduated from Harmony High School in 1943. In addition to being a farmer, he served on the Harmony School Board for several years. He was an active church member, serving on various Boards and Committees.

On August 23, 1953, he and Marilyn Holman were united in marriage at the Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church in Westby, WI.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, a daughter, Beth Gutzman of Mankato, MN, and two grandchildren, Tony and Jessica.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cresco, IA following services on Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation:
Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony, MN from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, as well as one hour prior to services at the church.

Service:
Funeral services will be held at the Harmony United Methodist Church in Harmony, MN at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating.
