HOWARD—ROWLEY—At the home of the bride’s parents, in this city, at high noon, Wednesday, June 26, 1901, by the Rev. Father Gunn, Mr. Frank E. Howard and Miss Maude O. Rowley, both of this city.
The above “plane” statement of fact is not in any manner a surprise to those who knew about it before. Frank simply saw a “form” so attractive to him that he concluded to surround her with “furniture,” even if he did have to “chase” awhile for her and get “locked-up” so tight the “key” wouldn’t unloose it. The general “impression” is that he did a good “job.” The bride looked lovely in her new ‘dress” and we feel “justified” in saying she will “ad” much to the happiness of her husband. The happy couple left yesterday afternoon on a trip to the Twin Cities and Crookston, Minn., and haven’t “benzine” since. This no “lye.”—Elma Democrat.
