Married.
NORTON-RYDER—At St. Mary’s Catholic church in Lourdes, Tuesday morning, Nov. 8, at 9 o'clock, Mr. Michael Norton, of Lourdes, Iowa, and Miss Lizzie Ryder, of Waterville, Allamakee county, Iowa.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. J. Nelson in the presence of a number of friends and relatives, who had assembled to congratulate the happy couple. The bridesmaid was Miss Mayme Clynch and the groomsman was Mr. Pat. Norton.
After the ceremony the bridal party returned to the home of the groom and partook of a bountiful wedding breakfast after which Mr. and Mrs. Norton departed on the Milwaukee for a week’s visit at the home of the bride.
The bride looked beautiful in her costume of tan with brown trimmings. The groom wore a suit of black and is a popular young farmer of Howard county, and is well known and highly esteemed by a large large circle of friends. The bride is an intelligent young lady and well qualified to make a home bright and happy which he has prepared for her.
The young couple will go to housekeeping immediately on their return and will be at home to their many friends after Nov. 20th.
