"OBITUARY.
An aged wife and mother, Mrs. Rosina Richenberger passed away Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. Jess Eicher at the age of 83 years, 18 days. She had been in ill health for several months but only recently had gone to the daughters home where she and her husband were given every care that living hands could give them.

Rosina Schlogeter the fourth child of Felix and Agnes Schlogeter was born in Hutton, Germany May 8, 1860 and came to this country in 1883. She is the last of her family, all having preceeded her in death.

She was married to Xavier Richenberger February 24, 1884, and he with four children survive, Mrs. Chris Rich of Salem, Iowa, Jacob and Edward Richenberger, Mrs. Jess Eicher of Wayland. Two children preceded her in death. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Richenberger was brought up in the Catholic faith but after her marriage she and her husband united with the Eicher Mennonite Church later transferring to the Wayland Mennonite church where she retained her membership until her death. While she was able she was a regular attendent at church, and always faithful in her religious obligations.

Mrs. Richenberger's eyesight had almost totally failed her yet she was always cheerful and appreciated having friends and neighbors drop in for a visit. Her Bible was always at hand so that some one might read to her and in her last days she was comforted by repeating her favorite passages.

Only words of praise are spoken of Mrs. Richenberger by her neighbors and friends, she will be greatly missed in the community.
Life's race well run,
Life's work well done,
Life's crown well won,
Now comes rest."
