Susan A. Troyer, 96 of Wellman, formally of Wayland, Iowa died Tuesday, December 06, 2005 at the Parkview Manor in Wellman.Memorial Services have been set for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 10, 2005 at Faith Baptist Church in Washington with Rev. Harold Gruber officiating. BURIAL WILL BE PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE NORTH HILL CEMETERY NORTH OF WAYLAND. Visitation will begin at Noon Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with family receiving friends from 6-8:00 in the evening. Memorials in the name of Susan A. Troyer have been established to the Faith Baptist Church, Hospice of Washington County or Silver Pond Assisted Living. Susan was born August 23, 1909 near Wayland to Amasa and Katie (Reschly) Miller. On August 7, 1930 she married Willis Troyer at her parents home, near Wayland. He preceded her in death August 5, 2002.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Washington. Susan was a homemaker, cooked meals for teachers of the Wayland Schools in the 40's, cooked at the Sail Inn Cafe, and worked at the Henry County Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and making quilts.

Survivors are six daughters; Delores (Howard) Rupp, Archbold, Ohio; Wilma (Don) Gingerich, Wellman, Ia ; Dorothy (Rex) Short, Archbold, Ohio; Betty (Harvey) Waliczek, Fishers, Indiana; Shirley (Steve) Lindell, Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Sandy (Jamie) Eiffert, Mt. Pleasant, Ia.; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren , nine step grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter; sister, Lenore Miller of Wayland; two brothers, Paul and Orval Miller of Wayland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Vera Schlatter, Leona Leichty, and Ruth Greiser and three brothers, Orie , Mahlon and Melvin Miller.
