Louis V. Coughlin Of Chicago Dies

Louis V. Coughlin, 64, died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday, Dec. 31, in Chicago, while on his way to work.
The son of Thomas and Ellen (Lee) Coughlin, he was born in Mt. Pleasant on Feb. 14, 1895.
Mr. Coughlin was employed by the Catholic Order of Foresters as bookkeeper. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving is one son, L.V. Couglin, Jr., a sergeant in the Army, stationed in France; and three sisters, Mrs. R.A. Linderson of Lockridge; Mrs. B.A. Davis of Davenport, and Mrs. Philip ording of Onondage, Mich.
Funeral services are set for 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, with Rev. John Manning officiating.
Rosary will be said Sunday evening at 8 p.m. in the Crane Funeral Home.
His body will arrive in Mt. Pleasant from Chicago at 2:45 Saturday afternoon.
