Michael Donahue, 92 Years Of Age, Dies
Dies At The Home On South Jackson Street Late Saturday

Michael Donahue, aged 92 years,--passed away at 6 o'clock Saturday evening at his home on South Jackson street. Mr. Donahue was operated upon last October, but had been in failing health ever since. The past six months he had been confined to his bed.
He was born in Ireland, and spent several years of his younger life in England, and came to American when still a young boy. He was a valued and faithful employee at the State Hospital in this city for 56 years, until ill health forced him to give up his work.
Mr. Donahue was always cheerful, honest and upright, had charity for all, and his many kind deeds will long be remembered. He was a devout member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church where his presence will be sadly missed.
He leaves to mourn--two daughters, Miss Rose of this city, who has tenderly cared for her father during his long months of sickness and suffering, and Miss Mary of Chicago, who has been at his bedside for the past two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday morning at the St. Alphonsus church.
Burial will be in the family lot in St. Alphonsus Catholic cemetery.
