CARL LINDBERG.

The death angel entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lindberg, on South Adams street, on Saturday morning, Dec. 21st, 1895, between seven and eight o'clock and bore away on its wings, to the Mansions not made with hands, the spirit of their much beloved son Carl, a young man about 19 years of age, who had been afflicted nearly a year with consumption. The death of this young man, while not unlooked, yet came suddenly and almost without warning to the mother and father and four sisters, who are left to mourn the loss of a beloved son and brother. A few years ago this family was called upon to pass through a great affliction, in the drowning of an elder son, Eddie, which makes this death of Carl, their only son a grief, almost too heavy to be borne. They have the sympathy of the entire community in this their great affliction. And may he "who doeth all things well," be with them.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon, Dec. 23rd, from the Swedish church in the east pastor, Rev. Ekeberg and was large attended by the friends of the family. The remains were laid to rest in the Old Cemetery.
