DEATH OF MRS. ELMER RICHMOND.

Wife of Well Known Resident Passes Away at Her Home Last Night.

Last evening Mrs. Elmer Richmond, who had been ill for the last month with dropsy and heart trouble, received a stroke of apoplexy and shortly after 9 o'clock passed away at her home on East street, in the east part of the city.

The deceased was born in Missouri on September 9, 1858, and was married to Mr. Elmer Richmond at Birmingham, this state, on September 1, 1892.

To mourn her loss she leaves a husband, but no children. The funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

The funeral of Mrs. Elmer Richmond will be held from the A.M.E. church tomorrow, Sunday, afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Lute of Fairfield officiating. Interment will be in the City cemetery.
