Quite a number of friends attended the funeral. The pall bearers being Messrs. John Reagan, John O'Connor, Jas. O'Connor, Cornelius Hurley, Daniel Toomey, and Jas. Bresnehan. Many friends extend their sympathy for the bereaved.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we love is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled
The boon, his love had given.
And though the body moulders here
The soul is safe in heaven.
