Ed Miller, 61, of near Olds taken After A Short Illness

Edward E. Miller, 61, passed away at the Memorial Hospital Saturday morning about 7:30. He became ill Tuesday when it also was apparent his heart condition was serious. He was taken to the hospital the same afternoon.

Mr. Miller was a life resident of the community northwest of Olds and for 28 years made his home two miles west of Olds where he was engaged in farming. Mr. Miller was a member of the Swedesburg Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Eleanor and Iris both of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Wendell Barney of Mt. Pleasant, one granddaughter, Judy Barney, and five sisters, Mrs. Anna Miller of Olds, Mrs. Asa Payne and Mrs. Carl Johnson of Wayland, Mrs. Charles Gray of Washington, Mrs. Forrest Lance also of Washington; five brothers, Dave of Salina; Jake and Dan of Minnesota; John and Ben of Washington. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 at his home and at 2:30 at the Swedesburg Church with Rev. Carl Benander in charge. Crane Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant was in charge of the arrangements.

Submitter is first cousin, three times removed, from Ed Miller.
